The Federal Five-Year Plan explains the Boston Housing Authority’s goals, priorities, and initiatives over a fiscal five year period for it's federal public housing portfolio. The Federal Annual Plan outlines BHA’s goals for the coming fiscal year (from April 1 to March 31) with details of the agency’s programs, policies, and capital repairs.

HUD PLAN PUBLIC NOTICE
The Plan is available to residents and the public for 45 days for review and comment before being reviewed by HUD. In a typical year, the Annual Plan is available for public review on November 1 and the comment period closes on Dec ember 15. Copies of the draft Plans are sent to the Resident Advisory Board and Local Tenant Organizations. The Plan is available at BHA’s Planning Department (52 Chauncy Street, Boston), at the Boston Public Library Copley Branch, and on the BHA website.
BHA holds a Public Hearing each year to provide an opportunity for BHA residents and the public to comment on the Annual Plan. Typically, BHA holds two public hearings and includes records of comments in the final Plan package to HUD.
