ABOUT THE JOB:
Under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Reasonable Accommodations, the Reasonable Accommodation Specialist II will review and issue decisions for requests for reasonable accommodations submitted to Boston Housing Authority’s (“BHA”) Admissions, Leased Housing and Operations Departments, which includes applicants to all of BHA’s housing programs, voucher holders, participants in Leased Housing’s programs, and residents in BHA’s public housing developments. The Reasonable Accommodation Specialist II will engage in the interactive process with applicants, voucher holders, participants and residents who request a reasonable accommodation from these departments and will review these requests in accordance with BHA’s Reasonable Accommodation Policy. The Reasonable Accommodation Specialist II will also submit all proposed alternative accommodations and denials of requests for reasonable accommodation to BHA’s Reasonable Accommodation Review Committee (“RARC”) to ensure that decisions are being issued in accordance with BHA’s reasonable accommodation policies and intentions. The Reasonable Accommodation Specialist II will also track and log all reasonable accommodation requests and decisions as required by BHA, and will notify relevant staff of all decisions issued as required. The Reasonable Accommodation Specialist II will also develop and provide reports on reasonable accommodation requests and decisions.

ABOUT THE JOB: 
The Customer Service Representative shall serve as a front-line point of contact for clients seeking to communicate with the BHA and utilize its programs. All incoming inquiries will be tracked through BHA’s system to ensure the prompt and accurate delivery of customer service. The Customer Service Representative shall also support the operational needs of the agency, handling incoming and outgoing mail, appointment scheduling and uploading documents to the electronic filing system.

ABOUT THE JOB: 
Under the supervision of the General Counsel, represents the Authority in civil litigation and administrative hearings and provides ongoing legal counsel to Authority staff, primarily on landlord-tenant and housing law and other areas. Responsible for conduct of complex legal matters as directed.

Job Description:

ABOUT THE JOB: 
This job is a hybrid remote /in office position.  Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Admissions or their designee, evaluates and makes recommendations relative to the eligibility and suitability of households seeking admission to BHA's housing programs. Conducts personal interviews and reference checks, making home and/or field visits when necessary, collecting, reviewing, and assessing information and documentation including CORI data. Responsible for interviewing and follow-up screening activities.
