RFQ # 2192-01 Faircloth to RAD Projects in City of Boston (extended till April 30, 2024)

Through this RFQ the BHA invites proposals by developers and owners of new multifamily rental construction or multifamily properties requiring rehabilitation within the City of Boston who are interested in developing public housing units that could in turn be converted to project-based Section 8 via HUD’s Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, to secure permanent and predictable rental operating subsidy. This subsidy could be used as a means to providing additional resources for the development project, achieving deeper affordability in the overall unit mix of the development project.  Proposals will be received on a rolling basis beginning on January 12, 2024 (the original due date) until April 30, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at the Boston Housing Authority, Procurement Department, 56 Chauncy Street (Housing Service Center), Boston, MA 02111. Complete details, qualification, and submission requirements can be found in the (RFQ) package.
