Request a resident phone or text alert
BHA staff may request resident phone, text, or email alerts to share important updates, reminders, and time-sensitive information with residents.
To request an alert, please email the Media & Intergovernmental Relations Department with the basic details of your request. Staff are encouraged to reach out at least two weeks in advance whenever possible, especially for messages that may require translation, coordination with property management, or review by multiple departments.
Before submitting a request, please consider:

Who should receive the alert?
Please identify your target audience. Messages can go to residents in a specific development, building, language or age group. We can also send messages to a custom list if needed.

What is the follow-through?
Please indicate if you're hoping for the audience to respond, or if this is a one-way communication.

What message do you want residents to receive?
Please include a draft of the message you would like to send. The Media & Intergovernmental Relations Department can help edit the message for clarity, length, and format.
