Resident Leadership and Community Affairs
The Department of Resident Leadership and Community Affairs oversees the coordination and implementation of resident capacity building initiatives, across the public housing and Section 8 portfolios. The team helps to support a strong collaborative working relationship between the BHA and the Local Tenant Organizations within the BHA Community. The Resident Capacity Team supports the Local Tenant Organizations (LTOs) with compliance related to Tenant Participation Fund mandates, board training and leadership development activities .The department provides liaison support to the BHA Resident Advisory Board and coordinates activities for the Resident Empowerment Coalition.
