RFP # 2449-01 Restore Rebuild Projects in City of Boston
The Boston Housing Authority is soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured developers or owners of new multifamily rental construction, or multifamily properties requiring rehabilitation, who are interested in developing public housing units using HUD’s mixed finance program with pre-approval to convert the units to a long term Section 8 contract. All proposals submitted in response to this solicitation must conform to all the requirements and specifications outlined within the RFP and any designated attachments in its entirety.
Funding is available on a rolling basis under this this Request For Proposals (“RFP”) to allow for a rolling basis of applications indefinitely or until funds are depleted or when sufficient applications have been received to fully obligate the annual budget authority, whichever comes first. Where BHA receives more applications than can be supported by the annual budget authority, BHA reserves the right to evaluate the proposals using the comparative criteria set forth in the RFP.
Proposers responding to this RFP are required to submit one (1) copy and one (1) original of their proposal and shall provide one (1) electronic copy on a USB flash drive. This submission should be in Adobe PDF format, although Microsoft Office file formats (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) are also acceptable.
Proposers shall submit their proposals to: BHA Housing Service Center, Joel Wool, Chief Procurement Officer, Boston Housing Authority, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA 02111, by mail or hand delivery. Each proposal must be clearly marked "BHA Job No: 2449-01 Proposal for Restore Rebuild Projects in City of Boston – Project Plan, and Required Forms." with the Proposer's name, address, and telephone number clearly delineated.
