IFB # 2491-02 Walkway and Parking Lot Paving at Lower Mills

Lower Mills Housing Corporation (the “Owner”), which is an instrumentality of the Boston Housing Authority (“BHA”), invites sealed bids for Walkway and Parking Lot Paving at Lower Mills, BHA Job # 2491-02, prepared by BSC Group.  The work is estimated at $275,000.00.  Bids will be received and publicly opened at the BHA's Procurement Department, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th floor, Boston, MA, 02111.  If bidders are to hand-deliver bids, please drop off bids at the Bids/Proposals Drop-Off Box in the lobby of 52 Chauncy Street. 
 
Bids not received by the following times will be rejected: 
General bid opening (in-person and virtual): November 18, 2026 at 11:00 AM.  https://tinyurl.com/2491-02bid
 
The general bid must include a 5% bid deposit.  The successful bidder must furnish 50% Payment Bond.  All bids are subject to MGL c. 30, sec. 39M.  Wages are subject to minimum wage rates set by the US Department of Labor.  All general bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision.

Bidders may attend the optional site visit at 10:00 AM on November 4, 2026, at Lower Mills, 2262 Dorchester Ave., Dorchester, MA 02124.  Technical questions may be directed to Christopher Thomas, Email cthomas@bscgroup.com .  The latest date for the AE to receive questions will be November 6, 2026.  The BHA reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all general bids, if it be in the public interest to do so.
