RFP #2319-11 AE 290 Beacon
The Boston Housing Authority (“BHA”) in collaboration with the City of Boston’s Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture (“MOAC”) is seeking the services of a qualified, and innovative architectural/engineering consultant firm (“A/E”) headed by an Architect to provide design, feasibility, and engineering services for the development of BHA’s 290 North Beacon parcel for deeply affordable housing along with 40,000 square feet of music rehearsal space as well as other cultural, and arts uses. The architectural/engineering firm should also manage the demolition process of the current building on site. The site is located at 290 North Beacon St in the Brighton neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts (the “Site”). The A/E will also assist, alongside BHA, MOAC and other partners, in crafting and assisting the public participatory design process to engage public housing, the Boston musician and broader Brighton communities to inform the design and execution of the Site.
