Risk Management

The Risk Management Department is responsible for analyzing, planning and implementing methods to minimize Boston Housing Authority’s (BHA) exposure to risk. This is done through the use of risk management tools such as insurance, loss prevention and reduction, training and safety inspections. The department is responsible for handling insurance claims for BHA’s auto fleet and property and negligence claims against BHA. The department also handles subrogation against those causing damage to BHA property and employee workers’ compensation claims.
