BuildCare Childcare Program Pilot

What is BuildCare?
BuildCare is a new BHA pilot program that provides $500 stipends each month to cover child care costs for workers at the Mary Ellen McCormack redevelopment and Mildred C. Hailey. This new pilot is designed to offset the cost of childcare for the people who are making a difference in the BHA community and improving the lives of BHA tenants.

Who is eligible?
Anyone working in construction at the Mary Ellen McCormack redevelopment and Mildred C. Hailey redevelopment project is eligible. You do not have to be a BHA tenant to participate in this pilot. Your child(ren) must be enrolled or plan to enroll at an eligible daycare in order to receive the stipend.

How do I register?
To register you just need to complete this simple form and enroll in your preferred eligible daycare.

Step 1: Search for daycares via this link. The website should look like this.

Step 2: Filter by BuildCare on the website and it will show you the daycares that are eligible to participate in this pilot program. The BuildCare filter can be found at the bottom of the option menu on the left hand side of the screen. Select ‘Yes’ to turn the BuildCare filter on.

Step 3: Enroll your child(ren) in your preferred daycare and make sure to get a receipt of payment for enrollment.
