Welcome to Davison Apartments

Davison is a close-knit, welcoming community that offers a variety of living arrangements for low- and moderate-income elderly and disabled persons. Davison offers 46 studio and one-bedroom apartments in a unique garden-style environment. Our complex is ideal for people who are independent and would enjoy living in a quiet residential neighborhood.

We offer many amenities for elderly and disabled individuals, which include emergency pull cords in the bedrooms and bathrooms as well as intercoms in every apartment.

Residents pay 30 percent of their income towards rent, prorated rent, or a predetermined flat rent.

Location: 

Davison is located in a quiet neighborhood of single-family homes in Hyde Park, two blocks from River Street and three-quarter miles from Cleary Square – which contains numerous convenience stores, banks and clothing stores. There are many churches of different denominations in the area as well.

Health care is nearby, with Faulkner and Carney hospitals located within two miles of Davison, and health clinics in Mattapan and Cleary Square.

Tenant Task Force: (Currently there is no task force in place, however, that will change in the future)

The Tenant Task Force works hand-in-hand with the BHA, as well as with numerous public and private organizations to foster an independent lifestyle for residents while building a strong sense of community within the building.

The Tenant Task Force also encourages residents to participate directly in strengthening their community through a variety of educational, cultural, social and recreational activities.
