Salary Range: $31,759.23 - $37,221.39

General Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, is responsible for the effective operation of the office support system. Provides administrative and clerical skills as required by the job. Frequently must use independent judgement and planning to relieve the executive of many routine administrative matters. Works fairly independently, requiring minimum supervision and guidance.

Duties & Responsibilities: · Directs the receiving and processing of telephone calls, overall correspondence, and visitors to appropriate persons. · Drafts correspondences, maintains confidential and important files, types documents and correspondence. · Compiles and analyzes data for use in reports, estimates and budgets. · Processes invoices, and carries out special projects. · Coordinates all details involving New Hire Orientation sessions. · Receives and processes all departmental purchase requisitions. · Assists in the preparation and monitoring of departmental budget records. · Supervises the maintenance of all contracts pertaining to office services and equipment as well as the ordering and distribution of office supplies. · Researches and resolves benefits/compensation issues for employees at the direction of the Benefits Manager or the Human Resources Specialist. · Performs other office duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience: High school diploma or GED is required. Must have the ability to perform administrative tasks and be able to handle a heavy workload, independently prioritizing work and meeting deadlines. Must have accurate grammar and spelling skills. Word processing skills are required. Familiarity with Lotus and/or Excel is helpful. Must type at least sixty (60wpm) words per minute. A minimum of five (5) years experience in an office environment is required. Must have considerable experience in handling the more routine, but important, office administrative duties. Individual should be comfortable working in a busy office environment; and have the ability to work well with others.
