Basilica consists of five one-bedroom units located in a condominium complex at the Charlestown Navy Yard. Designated for low- and moderate-income families, Basilica is part of the BHA’s Scattered Site Program.
Rents are calculated at 30% of a resident's income. Residents have the option of choosing a flat rent as well.

Scattered Site Program |
The Scattered Site Program, so named because units are “scattered” throughout the neighborhoods of Boston, is comprised of family units and group homes funded by the state, as well as a number of federally funded family units.
Several of the program’s family units are located in condominium complexes of varying size. In such units, the BHA provides the resident with management and maintenance services, while the condo associations handle common areas, buildings, and grounds.
The group homes are fully maintained by the BHA. Outside agencies provide physically and mentally challenged clients with 24-hour care and services. Each group home averages four clients.
