Washington Manor

Welcome to Washington Manor
1701 Washington Street, Roxbury
Washington Manor is a modern apartment building in the South End that offers apartments for low- and moderate-income elderly and disabled persons. Washington Manor offers 77 efficiency and one- bedroom apartments in an eight-story building. The lobby, community room, kitchen and common hallways were recently renovated with new carpeting, paint, and furniture. Built in 1973, Washington Manor - along with Frederick Douglass and Hampton House - is one of the “Three Sisters,” so named because they are identical in design and structure.

We offer many amenities for elderly and disabled individuals. Our units range from being fully equipped to modified to handicapped accessible. Rents are calculated at 30% of a resident’s income. Residents have the option of choosing a flat rent as well.

Location
Washington Manor is located in the South End, on Washington Street near Massachusetts Avenue, with a variety of stores and services close by in the surrounding community. There are a number of churches in the area as well. Health care is available at Boston Medical Center.
