Peabody-Englewood

Welcome to Peabody-Englewood
1875 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester
Peabody-Englewood is one of the BHA's newest developments offering a variety of living arrangements for low- and moderate-income elderly and disabled persons. Peabody-Englewood offers 103 one- and two-bedroom apartments in a mid-rise, six-story building. This modern building was built in the early 1980s and is located in Peabody Square in Dorchester near many shops and services.

We offer many amenities for elderly and disabled individuals. Our units range from being fully equipped to modified to handicapped accessible. Rents are calculated at 30% of a resident’s income. Residents have the option of choosing a flat rent as well.

Location
Peabody-Englewood is located in Dorchester in Peabody Square. A variety of shops and services are located in the surrounding community. There are a number of churches as well. Health care is available at Carney Hospital.

Transportation
Ashmont Station (Red Line)

A special senior transportation is provided weekly to Stop & Shop and Star Market.
