Monsignor Powers is a small, elderly/disabled community that offers a variety of living arrangements for low- and moderate-income elderly and disabled persons. Monsignor Powers offers 68 efficiency, one- and two-bedroom apartments in a mid-rise, four-story building. Located in South Boston, our complex is ideally located near area beaches and is within walking distance to many stores and services.
We offer many amenities for elderly and disabled individuals. Our units range from being fully equipped to modified to handicapped accessible. Rents are calculated at 32% of a resident’s income.

Monsignor Powers is located in South Boston with many shops, restaurants and services available in the surrounding community. Within walking distance are a supermarket, pharmacy, several banks and restaurants, and a Boston Public Library branch. A Boston Fire Department station is one block away.
There are a number of churches in the surrounding community. Health care is available at the South Boston Community Health Center and New England Medical Center is a short bus or car ride away.
