Franklin Field offers 46 one-bedroom apartments with front and rear entrances in a unique, garden-style environment for low- and moderate-income elderly and disabled individuals. The BHA is working to create an additional 16 units for grandfamilies at this location in the near future. Our complex is beautifully landscaped and has many benches for residents to enjoy our plants and trees, including our flowering apple and magnolia trees.
We offer many amenities for elderly and disabled individuals, including a very active Community Center. The buildings have front and rear stairs, and are not wheelchair accessible. Rents are calculated at 30% of a resident’s income.

Franklin Field is located at the intersection of Ames and Stratton streets in Dorchester. The complex is located next door to the Franklin Field Family Development. A variety of businesses and services are located nearby or within a quick ride on public transportation. Health care is available at the Codman Square Health Center and the Harvard Street Health Center.
