Alice Taylor Housing Alice Taylor combines townhouses, garden-style, and high rise apartments to create a unique living environment for its families. The buildings, originally built in 1951, have been completely renovated. Alice Taylor offers 366 units, including townhouses, and mid-rise and low-rise apartments. Apartment sizes range from one bedroom to five bedrooms, and include some modified and wheelchair units. Rents are calculated at 30% of a resident's income. Residents have the option of choosing a flat rent as well.

Location
Alice Taylor is conveniently located in the Mission Hill section of Roxbury. Our neighbors include Wentworth Institute, Museum of Fine Arts, Northeastern University, Boston Police headquarters and the Southwest Corridor Park. The Prudential Center and Copley Square are within walking distance and just a short ride away on the T.

Health care is available nearby at four major hospitals: Brigham and Women's, Beth Israel, Children's Hospital, and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. The Whittier Street Health Center is also close by.

The surrounding neighborhood offers a variety of educational and employment opportunities at area institutions. Public basketball courts, tennis courts and parkland are close by at the Southwest Corridor Park. In addition, several churches are located nearby.

Transportation
Alice Taylor is across the street from Ruggles Station, which is served by the Orange Line, many connecting buses and the Commuter Rail. The Green Line E Branch also stops three blocks away.
