The Risk Management Center is charged with the responsibility for analyzing, planning
and implementing methods for the handling of the Authority's exposure to risk. This is done through the use of risk management tools such as insurance, loss
prevention and reduction, training, safety inspections, and safety committees.
The Center is responsible for insurance claims on the Authority fleet, property,
employees workers' compensation claims, negligence claims against the Authority
and subrogation against those causing damage to Authority property.
