The Legal Department provides legal services in support of all Authority operations, through both in-house attorneys and outside law firms. The Department handles evictions, inspectional services complaints, discrimination complaints, employment and environmental matters, contract review, construction disputes, real estate matters, and policy development and review. The Department of Risk Management is located within the Legal Department and oversees all insurance coverage, adjustment and processing of claims, case supervision, workers' compensation claims, safety committees and safety equipment.
