The Communications Department has primary responsibility for press relations
and internal and external communications. All media related calls and informational
requests are taken and responded to by the Communications Department. Press
releases, events, a number of internal initiatives designed to improve communication
at the BHA and outreach and information for residents all fall under the purview
of this department. In addition, Communications Department staff oversee the
development of written materials about the BHA, such as the BHA Today newsletter,
web site information and brochures. The Communications Department coordinates
with other departments to provide information to residents and the public regarding
policy or procedural changes at the Authority as well.
