RFP # 09P-054 Master Planning and A/E Services for Old Colony Redevelopment

The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking proposals from qualified firms and teams for design (master planning and architectural/engineering) services related to the redevelopment of its Old Colony site in South Boston. The contract is estimated at $200,000 for the master planning services. A/E services will be required for an estimated construction project cost of $24 - $40 million depending on final unit count. Complete details, qualification and submission requirements can be found in the RFP. RFP packages may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 payable by check or money order to the BHA on or after 9/24/2009 from the BHA, Contract Office, 6th floor, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA 02111 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. The RFP package will be mailed to prospective respondents upon request for an additional $5.00 fee or by email free of charge. Proposals will be received at the above address until 2:00 P.M. 10/28/2009. There will be a bidder’s conference on 10/13/2009 in the 11th Fl. Conference Room at 52 Chauncy Street, Boston at 2:00 PM. Questions or requests for modifications regarding this RFP will be accepted in writing only until 4:00 p.m. on 10/14/2009 and should be submitted to Dan Casals, Chief Administrative Officer, BHA, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA 02111. bids@bostonhousing.org Facsimile number 617-988-4292.
