The Boston Housing Authority seeks proposals for constable services for the service of legal process and to levy on execution as directed by counsel for the BHA. The selected Proposers shall be required to perform the following services covering locations in Suffolk County as well as out of jurisdiction locations: 1. service of summary process summons and complaints; 2. service of subpoenas for witnesses; 3. service of forty-eight hour notices of intent t levy on executions; 4. Levy upon executions issued in summary process actions; 5. Service of short order of notices on request for injunctive relief; 6. Service of same day/next day subpoenas; 7. Service of Notices to Quit; and 8. Monthly Reports. More information is in the RFP from the BHA, Contract Unit, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th fl., Boston, MA 02111 on 9-26-06 for a non-refundable $10.00 payable to the BHA (no cash) or mailed for $5.00. The proposal deadline is 10-16-06 by 2:00 p.m. to Dan Casals, at the address above. The BHA reserves the right to make multiple awards and to reject any proposals and waive any informalities in the public interest.
