BHA Job # 05P-040 Request for Proposal for Privately Managed Properties Premises Liability Insurance

The Boston Housing Authority invites all interested parties to submit proposals to provide premises liability insurance for properties owned by the Authority and managed by private management companies for a period of one year commencing on July 25, 2005.

Specifications outlining the desired coverage categories, limits, and deductible options are contained herein.

Proposal will be subject to approval and award by the Boston Housing Authority. Proposals will be irrevocable for a period of 30 days from the date of receipt.

The Boston Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities.

On July 7th, 2005 markets will be assigned for this procurement. No broker or agent is authorized to approach any markets in connection with this solicitation without written permission from the Boston Housing Authority. Violation of this provision may result in disqualification. Please fax to Mr. Richard A. L'Europa at (617) 988 -4293 by 9:00AM on July 7, 2005 the following: List of other government or quasi-government clients serviced by your local office including the names and telephone numbers of the person(s) to contact for references; a list including full name and address of the principal markets used by your office, the lines of coverage placed with them, and the premium volume of each line of coverage placed with them; and a list of insurance markets with full name and address ranked in order of preference, including workers' compensation premium volume written by your local office for each selected market.

Proposals must be received at the offices of the Boston Housing Authority, Procurement Office, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02111-2375 no later than 4:00PM on Friday July 22, 2005.
