REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - 01P-066
COMPUTER SYSTEM NEEDS ASSESSMENT
The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) is seeking Proposals to provide consulting services to the BHA. The successful consultant will support a Project Team of BHA staff that will develop functional, operational, and organizational specifications to be used in the procurement and implementation of new automated systems to manage the BHA’s core business functions. The BHA intends to utilize a consultant to provide expertise on the methods and tools by which the team will accomplish its work and to support the team in utilizing these methods and tools to reach its goals. Proposers must be able to document customers for whom a project, similar in scope and size, has been successfully completed. Further requirements may be found in the RFP.
The RFP package may be obtained on or after Monday November 5, 2001 @ 10:00 a.m. from the BHA, Procurement Department, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th floor, Boston, Massachusetts, 02111, (617) 988-4036. There is no charge for the documents which will be mailed on request or which may be picked up. Proposals must be received at the offices of the Boston Housing Authority, Procurement Department, Attn: Daniel Casals, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, Massachusetts, 02111 no later than 4:00 PM on Wednesday, December 5, 2001. Proposals will be subject to approval and award by the Boston Housing Authority. Proposals will be irrevocable for a period of 60 days from the deadline date. The Boston Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any and all informalities if in the public interest.
A Pre-Proposal conference will be held on Thursday 11/15/01 at 10:00
AM at the BHA's main office located at 52 Chauncy St, Boston, MA
02111. Proposers should call Denee Harris at 617-988-4292 to confirm
attendence.
In order to provide prompt and thorough answers to Proposers'
questions, the BHA requests that all Proposers submit written
questions no later than two (2) business days prior to the Pre-
Proposal Conference. Submit written questions to David Seldin,

Important Note: The Proposer awarded this RFP will be precluded from participating in supplying the system or providing implementation services for the replacement computer system.
