The Boston Housing Authority (BHA), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for two projects from general contractors BHA Job # 01P-062 for Exterior Painting at Gallivan and Archdale and BHA Job #01P-063 for Exterior Painting at Harwood and Winston Streets for the BHA in Boston, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by DHCD. The Projects consists of exterior painting. The work is estimated to cost $49,500 and $27,300 respectively General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management in the following category of work:. . Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 §44A-J and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
General Bids for BHA Job # 01P-062will be received until , 10/31/01 and , 10/31/01 for BHA Job #01P-063 and publicly opened, forthwith. All bids will be received and opened at the BHA, 52 Chauncy Street - 6th Fl., Boston, MA 02111. Mailed bids should be sent to this address and received no later than the date and time specified above. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Boston Housing Authority. Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available for pick-up at the above address after l0:00 a.m., on , 10/17/01 upon deposit of a check or money order (no cash) in the amount of per set, payable to the Boston Housing Authority. This deposit will be refunded for one set upon return of the set in good condition within thirty days of receipt of general bids.
