The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) seeks proposals for the development of a vacant parcel at 42-244 West Broadway, South Boston. The BHA's goal is to dispose of the vacant land and ensure its subsequent development in a manner consistent with its mission of maintaining affordable housing and promoting economic self-sufficiency. The property will be disposed of subject to an affordable housing covenant. The disposition is subject to formal approval by the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). Proposals may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 payable by check or money order to the Boston Housing Authority on or after Wednesday, September 19, 2001 from the BHA, Contract Office, 6th floor, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA 02111 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
The RFP package will be mailed to prospective respondents upon request for an additional $5.00 fee. Proposals will be received at the above address until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 24, 2001.
