DISPOSITION AND REDEVELOPMENT PROGRAM BHA Job No. 01P-022
The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) seeks proposals in order to ground lease four scattered site properties in the South End (the West concord Properties) for the purpose of redevelopment as privately-owned affordable rental housing. Restrictions related to prior federal financing assistance require that the properties be conveyed to a non-profit local development corporation or a non-profit tenant cooperative corporation. The final terms of ground lease are subject to approval by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). Proposals may be obtained for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 payable by check or money order to the Boston Housing Authority on or after Wednesday, April 18, 2001 from the BHA, Contract Office, 6th floor, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA 02111 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
The RFP package will be mailed to prospective respondents upon request for an additional $5.00 fee. Proposals will be received at the above address until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 30, 2001.
