The Boston Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for
MOVING SERVICES FOR VARIOUS PROGRAMS, BHA Job No. 10P-016. Bids will be received and publicly opened and read aloud at the Authority's Contracts Unit at 52 Chauncy Street, 6th Floor, Boston, Massachusetts. The work includes: the relocation of tenants' personal belongings with and without packing services on an as needed basis for a period of one year. The work is estimated at $117,000.00. Bids must be received at the address below no later than: 11:00 AM on 3/22/10. Contract Documents will be available for pick-up at the Boston Housing Authority, Contracts Unit, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th Floor, Boston, MA 02111 after 10:00 a.m., 3/8/10, for a $10.00 (no cash) non-refundable fee, or mailed out for a non-refundable $5.00 fee. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00). Bid deposits, payable to the Boston Housing Authority, shall be either in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by, a responsible bank or trust company. All bids are subject to the provisions of MGL Chapter 30B. All bidders are required to comply with the Boston Housing Authority's Minority Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision.
