RFP# 09P-070 Developer Services for Old Colony – Phase One Disposition and Development

The Boston Housing Authority (“BHA”) invites interested Development Partners to submit proposals for the implementation of the Old Colony Phase One redevelopment project. The successful Development Partner must demonstrate the ability and experience to implement a comprehensive mixed-finance, mixed-income, mixed-use rental redevelopment plan. This project is supported by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The BHA applied for and received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) $22,196,000 of Capital Fund Recovery Competition (“CFRC”) funds for the revitalization of Old Colony – Phase One. The contract will have an approximately 3-year term. Complete details, qualification and submission requirements can be found in the RFP. The RFP package may be obtained in person for a non-refundable fee of $10.00 on or after 11/2/2009 from the BHA, Contract Office, 6th floor, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA 02111. The RFP package will be mailed to prospective respondents upon request for an additional $5.00 fee. It is available at no charge by email request to bids@bostonhousing.org. Proposals will be received at the above address until Noon on 12/11/2009. Questions or requests for modifications regarding this RFP will be accepted in writing only until Noon p.m. on 11/19/2009 and must be submitted to Daniel Casals, Chief Administrative Officer, BHA, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA 02111 bids@bostonhousing.org facsimile number 617-988-4292. The BHA reserves the right to reject any proposals and waive any informalities if it be in the public interest to do so.
